Here is an elite broodmare that'll make you say Ahh Momma Mia. Owned by Carpenter Farms and currently available for ICSI through Select Gene's lineup of exceptional and exclusive producers, Ahh Momma Mia is selling Dec. 31, 2025 in Solo Select New Year’s Eve Sale.
And this opportunity gets even better—there are THREE lots of Ahh Momma Mia genetics available to kickstart your program. Along with Ahh Momma Mia herself, the Solo Select New Year's Eve Sale is offering one 2026 foal in utero by NCHA Hall of Fame and $21.6 million sire Stevie Rey Von, and three frozen embryos by $4.4 million sire and EquiStat Leading Cutting Freshman Sire Rollz Royce.
See her sale offerings here:
"She is smart, athletic, gritty, and just highly expressive on a cow—and what she is good at, she puts on every single foal no matter the cross." said owner Todd Carpenter on Ahh Momma Mia.

The 2012 sorrel mare was an NCHA earner of $37,366 with limited showing and a South Point Mane Event Day 2 Open Futurity Finalist. With her first foal arriving in 2020, Ahh Momma Mia has produced three show-age offspring so far, and every single one of them is a money-earner totaling to over $77,000 in progeny earnings.
“Her babies are easy to train, they have good minds, and they are extremely cowy and athletic," Carpenter said, “She’s already produced $77,000, and she’s going to go over $100,000 pretty soon with the three horses she has out there now.”
Her offspring include Miatta, the 2021 Rollz Royce filly that sold for $160,000 as a two-year-old at the Western Bloodstock NCHA Futurity Sale. Miatta has earned $49,993 under Lance Cooper and is a NCHA Open Futurity and NCHA Super Stakes Open Derby semi-finalist. The embryos in Lot ??? will be FULL SIBLINGS to Miatta. Like all of Ahh Momma Mia's offspring, she is still actively showing. Watch Miatta in the cutting here and here.

Ahh Momma Mia also produced My Kryptonite, earner of $20,362 under Megan Pine; Cast Mia Spell, earner of $6,882 in limited showing due to an illness her four-year-old year; and Mias A Talker, a coming 3-year-old mare with an exciting future in the cutting. With such a young group, the potential for Ahh Momma Mia’s future as a producer is enormous.

Ahh Momma Mia is by the two-time NCHA Open World Champion Stallion Auspicious Cat, $1.4 million sire and earner of $334,309, making her a half sibling to Shes My Cherry Pie ($160,182 LTE) and Mizpah Cat ($157,101 LTE). She is out of Real Hickory Smoke, who brings the time-tested ability of Docs Hickory genetics to Ahh Momma Mia’s pedigree. Real Hickory Smoke is the earner of $9,426 herself and producer of Bet Shesa Fancy Cat, NRCHA World’s Greatest Horseman Open finalist and earner of $63,896.
"You can cross her on just about anything, she’s easy to be around, and she’s an easy keeper," Carpenter said. "She gives us a lot of oocytes so she's fertile. She's just a good breeder and I think she will be an extremely strong fit and a flagship type producing broodmare for the right program."
In just a handful of foals, Ahh Momma Mia has already proven she’s the kind of mare that elevates a breeding program. With her oldest babies still in their careers, her story as a producer is only beginning and showing tremendous potential. Whoever brings her home on New Year’s Eve will be securing not just a broodmare, but a game-changer for their program.
