For calf roper Chance Bradley Thiessen and 4-year-old gelding Tom Cats R Popular, known as “Uzy”, the inaugural year of the Solo Select Incentive Futurity won’t soon be forgotten. On the biggest stage of his young career, Uzy rose to the occasion and put up an impressive 298.43 in the short round to clinch the calf roping championship and a payout of $14,850.
