We are giving breeders access to world-class maternal genetics in a way that has never been available.

Start with the donor roster. Every mare carries a full profile: photos, videos, black-type pedigree, produce record, and genetic testing, so you can judge her the way you would judge her in person.

Select Your Stallion
Pick nearly any stallion in the industry, including the legends. Because ICSI uses a single sperm per egg, one straw goes a very long way, which opens doors conventional breeding can't: limited semen, deceased sires, your own stallion.
- The mare owner gives final approval on every pairing
- No stallion in mind? We'll recommend crosses based on your goals
- The stallion's breeding fee is billed separately, by that stallion's own contract
- Sexed semen is often available, so you can select for a colt or filly
Contract & Payment
Complete your contract online to secure the aspiration. The paperwork spells out exactly what you are buying: one viable embryo from your chosen cross, confirmed in a recipient mare, so there are no surprises.

- Zero embryos? Re-aspirate the same mare or a different one, even this season, for just the chute fee
- You pay the mare's full price up front. It covers the aspiration and your first embryo
Aspiration & ICSI
We schedule the aspiration around your chosen mare's cycle. Mature eggs are collected by ultrasound-guided OPU while she stands sedated, then go to the ICSI lab, where a single sperm is injected into each mature egg.

- Not tied to the natural breeding season, so we work around your timeline
- A licensed reproduction vet oversees every step, from aspiration through the lab

Transfer of Embryo(s)
Fertilized eggs are cultured for roughly seven to ten days until the viable ones develop into embryos. Each viable embryo is then transferred fresh into a recipient mare or frozen for a later cycle.
- Solo Select offers a 2,500-plus recipient mare herd
- Frozen embryos stay viable up to five years, so timing is up to you
- A licensed vet confirms pregnancy at the 55-day in-foal check
- Insurance is available once she's confirmed in foal at 55 days
Welcome Your Foal
The pregnancy is monitored to a confirmed heartbeat, with real-time updates from aspiration onward. Eleven months later you meet the foal you designed, and we get to cheer them on in the show pen.
- The foal is 100% yours: register, market, and train from day one

Embryo Program FAQ
What am I actually buying?
An embryo — a foal — out of the mare. Not the mare. She stays with her owner; the foal is 100% yours.
What does the price on each mare mean?
Her Custom ICSI Aspiration: one aspiration cycle with the stallion you choose, first embryo included.
What if I get more than one embryo?
They're yours. Each extra one is half her listed price, and you're only billed if it produces a live foal.
What if I get zero embryos?
Re-aspirate her next season for just another $2,000 chute fee, or put your purchase price (minus the chute fee) toward any other mare in the program.
Do I need my own recipient mare?
No. Our recipient herd carries your foal; a licensed vet confirms the pregnancy at 55 days.
What's not included?
