The Genetics Behind Champions. The Opportunity to Own Them. Solo Select's October Sale Is Here.
The Solo Select October Sale offers 40 lots of foals, embryos, broodmares and prospects online Sunday, Oct. 18.
Some of the most sought-after genetics in the Western performance horse industry change hands Sunday, Oct. 18, when Solo Select Horses offers 40 lots of foals, embryos, broodmares and prospects in the Solo Select October Sale.
The Stallions Behind the Opportunity
The Solo Select October Sale features exciting opportunities to invest in genetics from stallions standing at Solo Select Horses, with embryos, bred mares, foals and yearlings represented throughout the catalog.
Third Edge, the NCHA Horse of the Year, NCHA Hall of Famer and $342,528 earner, is represented by three offerings: Lot 112, an embryo; Lot 159, a mare bred to Third Edge; and Lot 208, a yearling by the stallion.
LBR Hangem is represented by Lot 104, a foal by the stallion, and Lot 160, an embryo offered with a mare, providing two opportunities to invest in his genetics.
Metallic Cattack is represented by Lot 162, a mare bred to the stallion, and Lot 211, a yearling by Metallic Cattack, offering buyers both breeding potential and a young prospect.
From proven performance bloodlines to the next generation of prospects, these offerings give buyers the chance to bring Solo Select stallion genetics into their own programs.
More Than an Auction
Founded by Melanie Smith, Solo Select Horses has sold more than $100 million in performance horses and runs everything from stallion management and reproduction to sale preparation and marketing. The team shoots its own photos and video for every lot, and each lot page includes vet records so buyers can evaluate every horse before they bid.
An Opportunity for Every Kind of Program
For some buyers, the goal is to find their next competitive prospect. For others, it is securing a valuable maternal bloodline, investing in a young stallion's genetics or acquiring an embryo that could become the foundation of a breeding program.
The October Sale is designed to bring those opportunities together in one place.
Whether buyers are looking to build on an established program or make their first investment in elite performance horse genetics, the Solo Select Sale offers a chance to look toward the future.
The Next Generation Starts Here
Behind every accomplished performance horse is a pedigree, a breeding decision and someone who recognized an opportunity.
The Solo Select October Sale brings those opportunities to the forefront, connecting the bloodlines that have already made their mark with buyers ready to invest in what comes next.
The genetics are proven. The possibilities are just beginning.
Bidding opens at 8 a.m. CDT on Sunday, Oct. 18, and lots begin closing at 5 p.m. CDT. Explore the October Sale catalog, review the offerings and register to bid at:
