Solo Select Horses Consignment Brings $122,000 at 2026 Legacy Reining Breeders Sale
Respected reining bloodlines highlight Solo Select’s four-horse consignment, averaging $30,500 per yearling.

Solo Select Horses sold four yearlings for $122,000 at the 2026 Legacy Reining Breeders Sale, averaging $30,500 with a consignment featuring pedigrees rooted in generations of reining performers and producers.

Burn Out, Hip 247, led the Solo Select consignment at $49,000. Royal Code, Hip 273, followed at $32,000, while No Guns In My Genes, Hip 216, brought $23,000 and Dun It On Route 66, Hip 256, sold for $18,000.

Royal Code is a colt by $15.9 million sire Spooks Gotta Whiz; Burn Out and Dun It On Route 66 are a colt and filly by $6 million sire Inferno Sixty Six; and No Guns In My Genes is a colt by $6 million sire Walla Walla Whiz. Inferno Sixty Six is also the sire of The Firemen, who stands at Solo Select Horses.
The yearlings’ maternal pedigrees added proven production and established breeding to the group. Burn Out and No Guns In My Genes are both out of Too Spooked To Drive, a daughter of Smart Spook who has produced Slick Tricks, an earner of more than $69,000.

Dun It On Route 66 is out of a granddaughter of both Hollywood Dun It and Smart Little Lena, bringing two influential names in Western performance horse breeding into the pedigree. Royal Code’s dam is a daughter of Electric Code and a granddaughter of Reminic, adding another branch of the sport’s respected bloodlines to the consignment.

"We put a lot of time into getting each of these yearlings ready, and it’s rewarding to see them head to their new homes. Thank you to the owners for trusting us with their horses and to everyone who helped prepare them. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do next," Evan Moffitt, Solo Select Horses Fitting Team Manager, said.
Solo Select extends its thanks to Cayce Bennett and Emily Wrights for trusting the team with their consignments, and to the buyers who selected these yearlings for their programs. We look forward to following all four as they begin training and build their careers.
Thank you also to our fitting team, led by Evan Moffitt, for the daily care, time and effort devoted to preparing these horses for the sale.
We look forward to seeing everyone again at the 2027 Legacy Reining Breeders Sale.
