In their latest acquisition for the Select Genes program, Solo Select brought home Catnaps last week from the 2025 NCHA Futurity Preferred Breeders Sale. Catnaps is an earner of $79,920 herself as well as a high-caliber producer with $680,425 in progeny earnings. She is a full sister to Kittens, the $1.1 MILLION+ producer and earner of $286,515.
Catnaps' produce record testifies to the ability of her maternal genetics to bring home titles at the highest levels. She is the dam of Gingersnaps, earner of $219,416, who claimed the NCHA Open Derby Championship under Morgan Cromer. He also claimed significant titles including Breeders Invitational Open Derby Champion, Arbuckle Mountain Open Derby Champion, Brazos Bash Open Derby Reserve Champion, and PCCHA Open Derby Champion.
Catnaps also produced Snapdragons, earner of $245,658, who carried Zane Davis to his second NRCHA Open Futurity Reserve Championship. He earned many significant titles including NRCHA World Bridle Open Reserve Champion, NRCHA Supreme Reined Cow Horse, and NRCHA Celebration of Champions Open Derby Champion.
