FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, Gainesville, Texas — Outcross of the Future, LBR Hangem has booked full for 2025.
As soon as LBR Hangem was announced to stand at stud for 2025, contracts began pouring in. Now fully booked for the year, the stallion’s debut season at Solo Select Horses has proven as exceptional as the horse himself.

Offered via Frozen and ICSI only while continuing his show career with Kenny Platt, LBR Hangem—known barnside as “Shotty”—entered the breeding barn with powerful momentum and high demand.
“The demand for LBR Hangem has been overwhelming—in the best way,” said Melanie Smith of Solo Select Horses. “We’re incredibly proud of what he’s accomplished in the arena and even more proud of the elite group of mares he has booked that will help shape his first foal crop. The future is bright for this horse.”
Sired by Dual Reyish and out of the $700,000-producing mare Hangem High Pep, LBR Hangem—hailed as “The Outcross of the Future”—has more than lived up to the title. He’s quickly made a name for himself in the arena, racking up multiple championship and reserve titles, including the 2024 Abilene Spectacular Championship and a Co-Reserve Championship in the 5/6 Open at the NCHA Super Stakes just last month. Those performances have earned him crosses to some of the most influential mares in the cutting horse industry.
