Following the overwhelming success of the first Solo Select Incentive in 2025, Solo Select is raising the stakes for 2026. Introducing FOUR incentives that will expand across the entire western performance horse industry.

It pays to breed to a Solo Select Stallion
Our mission is to give back to the breeders who place their trust in our stallions.
Through the Solo Select Incentives Program, the total payout is divided between two deserving parties:

60% is awarded to the highest-scoring rider competing on a horse sired by an eligible Solo Select stallion.

The remaining 40% is awarded to the highest-scoring contract-holding owner or rider, who may compete on any horse, by any stallion.
This structure ensures our loyal breeders and riders are rewarded for their dedication, performance, and partnership with Solo Select.

SIRE PAYOUT
Ride one offspring of an enrolled Solo Select stallion to be eligible for 60% of the pot.
Open to horses sired by a Solo Select stallion enrolled and contributing in that same year.
Sire eligibility is determined annually and may vary from year to year.
40%
CONTRACT PAYOUT
One 2026 breeding contract to an enrolled Solo Select Stallion lets you compete for 40% of the pot.
Any horse—by any stallion—is eligible for the Contract Incentive if the registered owner or rider holds a paid Solo Select breeding contract for that same year to an eligible stallion in the respective program.
Plus an additional $100,000 through the Recipient Mare Incentive!

A total of $100,000 will be paid out at the 2026 NCHA Futurity across the Open, Non-Pro, and Amateur divisions, split evenly among any finalists who have a paid Solo Select recipient mare lease contract.
The Solo Select Recipient Mare Program, offered through Select Reproduction, provides access to one of the largest and most respected recipient mare herds in the world, with more than 2,000 mares available for lease or breeding. Each mare is carefully selected, managed, and cared for year-round, with an emphasis on health, nutrition, and reproductive success—ensuring the best possible results long before embryo implantation.
This exclusive program is available only to customers utilizing Solo Select’s breeding services, offering a seamless, high-quality experience at every stage of the breeding process.
To show our appreciation for customers using a Solo Select recipient mare in the 2026 breeding season, we’re proud to introduce the new Recipient Mare Incentive with $100,000 in new rewards.

Growing from the success of the inaugural Solo Select Incentive.
The first-ever Solo Select Incentive Futurity marked a turning point in the western performance horse industry. Held in Hamilton, Texas, this landmark event delivered an extraordinary $581,580 in payouts over two thrilling days of roping.
What set it apart was accessibility — riders didn’t need to jump through hoops. All it took was breeding to a Solo Select stallion and showing up to compete for the largest payouts in roping futurity history.
Building on that momentum, Solo Select is bringing the excitement back for 2026, expanding the program to further reward breeders who believe in and choose Solo Select stallions.
