LBR Hangem Leads Field Into Idaho Open Finals

Nampa, Idaho - LBR Hangem and Kenny Platt have punched their ticket to the finals at the 2025 Idaho Futurity & Aged Event. Scoring a 223 in the second go-round, the duo topped the 5/6 Year Old Open aggregate results and secured their place in tomorrow’s finals.

The Dual Reyish son, out of Hangem High Pep, continues to prove himself as one of the rising young stallions in the cutting horse world.

Under the guidance of NCHA Hall of Famer Kenny Platt, Shotty carried the Solo Select Horses brand to the top of the leaderboard in a tough field of competitors. He comes into this show with lifetime earnings of $269,790.

Next year, Shotty is resuming a full-time show schedule with Kenny, while continuing to summon the attention of some of the best mares in the industry. He booked full in 2025, and for 2026 only a limited number of frozen semen and ICSI contracts will be available - and they are moving fast.
