Solo Grosses $1.32M on Ruidoso Day 1; Eight Yearlings Break $100K

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM – August 29, 2025 – Day One of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale showcased Solo Select Horses’ growing influence in the racing industry, with a $1,325,000 gross on 15 consignments, averaging $88,333 per head.

Hip 221 Jess My Cartel – $160,000


A colt bred for the fast lane. This stallion prospect by $72 million dollar sire Corona Cartel is out of the great AQHA Dam of Distinction, Jess Sass Me - producer of the Champion 2-year-old filly, Jess Walking Thru, earner of $447,266. He was bred and raised by Speed, LLC - who continues to produce world-class prospects.
