$560,000 Added. Every Dollar Gets Paid Out. Here's How the 2026 Solo Select Rope Horse Futurity Works.

The 2026 Solo Select Rope Horse Futurity returns September 30–October 1 at Circle T Arena in Hamilton, Texas, kicking off the fall Clay Logan Open. The event carries a minimum of $560,000 in added money for 4-year-olds across breakaway, tie-down, heading, and heeling, with entry fees building each pot from there.
A 2026 Breeding Contract to a Rope Horse Incentive enrolled stallion is all you need to enter the richest 4-year-old futurity of the year.
Any 4-year-old, by any sire, is eligible if the registered owner or rider holds a paid 2026 breeding contract to a stallion enrolled in the Solo Select Rope Horse Incentive. One contract equals one entry. Compete on a horse sired by an enrolled stallion too, though, and you're eligible to win even more.
Your horse does not have to be paid in. There are no nomination fees. Simply designate the horse you're entering under your breeding contract.

The Sire Pot Bonus
Every enrolled Solo Select stallion contributes a portion of each paid 2026 breeding contract to the Rope Horse Incentive fund. At the end of breeding season, the incentive fund is divided into two pots:
- Everyone competes for the Main Pot (worth 40% of the added money).
- Ride an offspring of an enrolled stallion, and you're also in the Sire Pot (worth another 60%, for 100% of the added money).
And here's the best part: every dollar of the added money gets paid out no matter what. If the Sire Pot isn't fully won by enrolled stallion offspring, the unclaimed portion rolls straight back into the Main Pot everyone's competing for. Most of our nominated studs still have very young progeny, so we reward the foals old enough to show now and roll the rest to the people breeding for these future foals.
Regardless of what horses are in the money, every dollar is paid out. There's no fine print or hard-to-hit eligibility bar that leaves any of the money unpaid.
