T7 Ranch is the formal name behind a set of horses that already speak for themselves.
Named for the seven members of Kaleb Terlip's family, T7 puts a brand on the quality, grit, and vision Kaleb has been building for years.
It’s less the start of something new, and more the recognition of a program that has already earned its place in the industry.
Kaleb, a team roper and father of a competitive barrel racer, has lived the performance horse business firsthand. He first connected with Melanie Smith in the earliest days of Solo Select, back when horses were selling through Facebook auctions.
From there, the relationship grew right alongside both programs, leading to consignments, stallion partnerships, and now, the proud sponsorship of the Solo Select Incentive Futurity.
For Kaleb and T7 Ranch, putting their name on the 4-Year-Old Futurity is more than a sponsorship. It’s a statement: these horses, this program, and this brand are here to stay.
“It’s about showing our deep belief in the rope horse industry and the people who are working every day to push it forward,” Kaleb says. "A rising tide raises all ships. That’s what we’re after with this, creating opportunity for everyone involved to grow and succeed.”

T7’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship. With partnerships in Woody Be Tuff, Pride N Joyy, Time To Glo, Meteles Cat, and The Darkkside, all fully enrolled in the Incentive, the ranch is directly invested in the event’s success. “By having all our stallions participate, we’re putting our money where our mouth is and helping make sure this program is sustainable and meaningful for years to come,” Kaleb explains.
As breeders, owners and riders themselves, T7 Ranch is part of the industry from the inside out.

Beyond the immediate benefits, T7 Ranch sees the sponsorship as an opportunity to contribute to expanding the sport.
“This event shows the potential of the rope horse industry. It gives owners a reason to breed rope horses and be profitable,” Kaleb says. “It doesn’t matter if you’re an NFR qualifier or a doctor or lawyer who ropes for fun, there’s room for everyone here.”
