$34,000 Price Tag Highlights Demand for Metallic Cattack Offspring

$34,000 — That’s What It Took to Own Phantomm. This standout 2-year-old colt by Metallic Cattack out of Mobster Cash brought $34,000 in the Cudd Quarter Horses Production Sale.
Bred and raised by Solo Select on ADM feed and Grostrong mineral, Phantomm was started by Ronnie Rose and remained in training at Solo through sale day.
Phantomm is part of an elite and growing group of Metallic Cattack progeny making their mark in the futurity world and beyond. Known as “Tictac,” the red roan stallion by Metallic Cat out of Quiolena (by CD Olena) has been gaining serious traction as a sire, with his 2025 foal earnings already topping $35,000 across roping, ranch, and versatility events.
With 555 registered foals and only a handful of age-eligible competitors, Metallic Cattack has already produced several earners, including Tom Cats R Popular ($23,562), Sugar Cattack ($20,000), and Lil Smart Cattack ($15,000). His offspring are winning across events like Road to the Horse, the Gold Buckle Series, and the ARHFA, with earnings rising steadily each season.
“Tictac has had his busiest year to date in the breeding barn, with most people being repeat breeders that just love their babies,” said Melanie Smith. “We’re getting incredibly positive feedback. With only a small group of four-year-olds showing, he’s already sired multiple finalists. His three-year-olds are in some of the best programs in the country, and we think they’ll shine.”
Phantomm’s sale further validates the demand for Metallic Cattack’s foals and highlights the kind of foundation that makes a program stand out: thoughtful breeding, strong maternal lines, consistent development, and high-quality nutrition.
