The Firemen, one of reining’s most decorated young stallions, has entered his first official breeding season, and breeders now have access to a slate of incentives, discounts and Black Friday opportunities designed to reward those who invest in his inaugural foal crop.

The Firemen became the NRHA Level 4 Open Futurity Champion in 2024 under Kaci O’Rourke with a score of 229, securing both the Level 4 and Level 3 titles in the same year. His record-setting performance made him the highest-earning 3-year-old western performance horse in history. His lifetime earnings now stand at $465,623, placing him among the sport’s all-time leading money earners.

Trainer and rider Kaci O’Rourke described the stallion as exceptionally responsive and powerful. “Riding him is like driving a Ferrari,” she said.
“The Firemen is truly one of the most complete horses I’ve ever seen — he has the athleticism, the eye appeal and the mind to be a breed-shaping stallion,” said Melanie Smith, founder of Solo Select. “We are honored to stand him and to launch a breeder incentive program that rewards those who believe in his future.”
A New Incentive Program for Breeders
Foals by The Firemen will be eligible for more than $3.7 million in incentive programs, including NRBC, 100X, The Invitational, NARS, All Star Reining Stakes, NRHA Sire & Dam, and APHA Chrome Cash.
Owners Courtney and Peter Morgan alongside Solo Select have created a dedicated incentive for his offspring, set to begin with his 2026 foal crop. Offspring born in 2027 will be eligible for the incentive at the 2030 NRHA Futurity.
